Summary of decision

A) SUBJECT
Decision concerning the amendment of the Decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance under reference A.1035/2020 “Obligations of Electronic Data Issuance Service Providers and procedures for controlling the provision of electronic data issuance services” (B’551).

B) CONTENT
This decision updates the obligations of Electronic Data Issue Providers and determines the content of Document Type 8.6 CATERING ORDER FORM.

The following are briefly defined:
• For the successful interconnection of an obligated entity and a Provider, in the case of retail sales documents, the entity is required to have an alternative way of connecting to the internet.
• Documents issued using Provider services must contain a two-dimensional barcode (QR code), which in each case also includes the received MARK. Furthermore, in the case of printing accounting data issued using Provider services, it is mandatory to include the MARK.
• In the event of an update of specifications by the Public Administration Authority, Providers are required to comply with them within fifteen days of the start of production of the latest version of the digital platform “myDATA” in which the said specifications are included.
• Definition of Document Type content 8.6 CATERING ORDER FORM.
• The Catering Order Form must contain a two-dimensional barcode (QR code), it is not a legal document of value but a special element marked by the Provider and is associated with the accounting revenue data to which it relates within twenty-four hours of its issuance.
